My Uncle Mark passed away very unexpectedly on January 2.  My mom and I need to travel to California to take care of his things, as we are the only close family besides my Uncle Ronnie, who lives 8 hours away from Bishop, and is recovering still from his own surgery.  

We will use the money for funeral costs, plane tickets, hotel and food costs, as well as shipping items that may need sent to family.  We really have no idea what we are walking into, but we are estimating $5,000 to be the minimum we will need.  As you all know, after the holidays, things can be very tight, so anything that you can do to help would be so very much appreciated.  
We are looking to leave on Thursday this week to get out there to take care of things as soon as possible.
