In 2019, our beloved, Alma Leyesa-Chua, was diagnosed with cervical cancer. From day 1, Alma set her mind to win the battle for the sake of her then 3-year old daughter, Arianne. For more than three years, Alma fought hard, with her husband and her mother by her side, her father and siblings from a distance, and her daughter as her inspiration.

But on early morning Saturday, October 29th, Alma’s battle with cancer came to a close as she passed away peacefully. Although her loss is very difficult, we know all her pain is now gone; and we know, deep down, she is victorious. She fought a good fight.

Alma lived a life of faith in God, hope in His grace and love for her family, for her friends and for every life she touched. It is indeed a life well-lived.
