Benz Halter - loved by so many and the rock of the Halter household; came down with Covid at the end of December. He spent a week in his local hospital, where his Covid progressed and he was transferred to the Medical ICU at University of Cincinnati. Shortly after he arrived, he had to be intubated and required a great deal of oxygen for multiple days on a ventilator. Throughout his stay, he has fought hard - as did the nurses and doctors caring for him - and by the grace of God, he is doing much better! 

Benz has been blessed with a wonderful team of doctors and nurses, but also wrapped in the prayers of SO many of his family, friends, and community members. Lengthy hospital stays, especially in ICUs, can only equate to large hospital bills. The goal is set for his deductible amount, and we’re praying that together we can reach that in order to reduce SOME of the stress on him and his family as he continues to recover.
