The Ben Woolf Fund

We – Ben’s immediate family – would be honored if you would like to make a donation on Ben’s behalf to a charity that furthers the causes that meant so much to Ben. He loved animals, children, and laughter, but most of all he believed in himself and that you could accomplish whatever you want despite the challenges. 

Thanks to everyone’s generous contributions we have installed two BENches – one is a children’s bench in the playground at the Head Start center in Santa Barbara where Ben was so loved working with the children there for seven years before he moved to LA.

The other is in Elings Park, a beautiful park high up on a hill in Santa Barbara, where Ben’s BENch is in a peaceful location with a panoramic view of the ocean.

We were also able to make a donation to the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara, a charity that helps families of children with cancer. After caring for Ben for so many years after his childhood cancer we know what that is like, and we were fortunate in having so much love, support and tangible help from countless friends. With this donation we hope that local families facing similar situations can be supported in the same way we were.
