Ben Wilkinson Memorial Fund

Jen wrote these beautiful words about Ben: 

I don’t have words to say what I am feeling. My heart, my love, my rock, my best friend, my sweet husband Ben ran into the arms of Jesus on Friday, June 29, 2018. I will see him again in Heaven. He loved me better than I can say. An adoring husband, devoted father, caring son, loving brother, selfless friend, and so much more. I cannot believe he will not be here with me for the rest of my life and my kids’ lives. I feel lost and broken without him, and I keep waiting to wake up from this nightmare. But I lean on God for comfort. I know He has our children, family, friends, and me in the palm of His almighty hand, and I trust Him and His perfect plan.

Please know that I have read every word that anyone has texted, messaged, posted, called about, etc., and I cherish your prayers and ask you to continue to pray for us. Pray for peace that passes all understanding, the joy of the Lord to flood our hearts, souls, and minds, comfort, and God’s wisdom to guide us through our lives.

Ben was so much to so many people, and that is a true testament to the person he was and the life he led. I am blessed that he chose me, that I got to have him, love him, and be loved by him for this long, that we built a beautiful life together with 3 amazing children, and that he left such an incredible legacy that will never end. He touched everyone’s heart that knew him.

Please honor his life and his memory by doing what meant more to him than anything on this earth, and seek Jesus Christ with all you have. In the end, we will all meet Jesus, and He wants to greet you with open arms, no matter who you are or what you have done. Believe me, there is forgiveness for every sin. All of them. If you don’t know Jesus, please call me. I would love to share with you, just like Ben would have.

Thank you, God, for Ben. Thank you for his life, his love. Thank you for your perfect will and your provision. Thank you for my husband. I can’t wait to see You and him in Heaven when you call me home. Until then, enjoy every smile, laugh, hug, touch, and joke that I know he is giving You. Please protect our family and fill each of our hearts with the peace and joy only You can provide. Thank you for Jesus. In His Name I pray, Amen.

Everyone who loves Ben is welcome to visit Center Christian Church on Monday, July 2 from 2-8 pm. His funeral will be there on Tuesday, July 3 at 11 am.

I don’t know who put together this video for him, but thank you, from the bottom of my heart. My mind isn’t clear enough right now to do something like this, so I appreciate it more than you know.
