This is Bento. Last week (1/19/21) he had an accidental spine injury, which turned out to be way more serious than it looked. He was diagnosed with IVDD and throughout the week his condition has been worsening until today (1/26/21) he was no longer able to use his back legs. The neurologist recommends immediate surgery for the best recovery, but it's very pricey. My partner and I only just moved and don't have the kind of money saved up for this emergency. His odds of recovery are around 90%, and the sooner the surgery happens the better. Any and all help is appreciated greatly! He's a very sweet dog and we're hoping this surgery cures him for good.
