Bentley's Urgent Surgery: Give Him a Second Chance
Donation protected
Many of you know this little man very well and have met him and for those of you who Dont, this is Bentley. He is a 12 year old Shiba Inu who has many years left in him. This week out of the blue, he has suffered a surprising and tragic incident. We are unsure how it has happened because he is a very calm and relaxed dog. Out of no where he lost control of his front legs and collapsed. He was rushed to an Emergency Room in Union where he was examined by experienced vets. They came to a conclusion that he would need to be sent to a neurologist specialist right away. He was admitted overnight where he got numerous test done between x-rays and bloodwork, and all his tests came back clean and clear with perfect vitals. The next step was an MRI. Upon the results of the MRI, the neurologist was able to see that he had a slipped spinal disc. In order for him to ever walk again he needs an expensive surgery. He still has years of life left in him and a clean bill of health; so the only right option would be to get surgery. I cannot fathom thinking about a lifestyle where he would be paralyzed when there is a easy fix or even worse put to sleep at this age.
I know these are rough times for everyone, but I am asking anyone if they would be able to donate whatever they can. every little bit will help and I will do whatever I have to do to make sure that he is able to walk again and live out the rest of his healthy life. I have already dropped thousands already on the vet visits and testing but the bills keep adding up. I appreciate anyone that is able to help. <3
