Bentley's Surgery: A Family's Plea for Aid

- Hello my name is Sandra Brinks and I’m her to help my best friend Suzy Nastevski & her family receive some help with her 2yr old Mari-Poo (Bentley). ❤️ I’ve known my bf Suzy for over 15 yrs . My girlfriend Suzy lost her husband 3 yrs ago to cancer. She is raising her kids alone and is a great mom and hard worker. After my girlfriend lost her husband she bought (Bentley) her daughter and Bentley is not just the family dog he’s family!!! He has helped cheer and emotionally help heal the Suzy and her kids., not only Suzy family but Bentley has touched my life and so many others. ❤️ Last weekend the kids were running around with Bentley and throwing his toy for him to get up and down a flight of stairs and the next thing we knew ..the kids were waiting for Bentley to come back up the stairs and after about 30 seconds they heard a unusual cry and Bentley wasn’t able to come up the steps and was in so much pain. Suzy and the kids really didn’t know what happened but they knew something was terribly wrong with Bentley. Her and the kids went to the local vet hospital to have Bentley looked at by the vet. The vet Dr. said they needed some imaging to see what’s really doing on with Bentley hip. Suzy agreed and after the X-Ray the Dr. Confirmed that Bentley has legg -Calve Perthes Disease. Bentley will have to undergo surgery where they will have to go in and restore Bentley the damaged hip bone by removing the head and neck of the femur. The surgery is est. to cost around 4,800. The Dr. Advised Suzy with surgery and medication, physical therapy, medical equipment, follow visits and X-Rays the cost of everything before and after procedure could be over 10,000. My gf suzy is a single mom raising 2 kids on a small income she is struggling right now just to pay for the hospital bill and X-ray that was roughly 800 dollars. Please help my gf Suzy &family receive the surgery and treatment and care he deserves. We all have a heavy heart right now especially suzy and the kids . Each night Bentley cries in pain and won’t eat and is tired and lays all day without hardly any mobility on his own. Let’s bring Bentley back to normal and help Suzy&kids feel at ease to get the proper treatment and survey done for Bentley. Any donation will greatly be appreciated!!!
