To our dear friends, family, and community,
We are reaching out today with heavy hearts to share an update on my wonderful husband, Bentley Lovely. As many of you know, we have been locked in a fierce battle with Pancreatic Cancer—a journey that has tested our strength in ways we never imagined.
Recently, we received devastating news that no one is ever prepared to hear. Bentley has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer that has spread to his lungs. It is terminal, and he has chosen to refuse chemotherapy and will instead enjoy his last few months of being symptom free with family and friends continuing his adventures. He will need palliative care for his last few months. And I want to make sure he is loved on, comfortable and without pain.
Anyone who has ever met us knows Bentley is my entire world. He has given me unconditional love an I have felt cherished every single day we've been together. Our marriage has been the greatest adventure of my life. Bentley is the greatest husband I could have ever asked for, a man of immense kindness, and someone who has spent his life showing up for others. Now, it is our turn to show up for him.
Our focus has now shifted to ensuring Bentley is comfortable, surrounded by love, and receiving the best possible palliative care. As we navigate this final chapter, the "cancer nightmare" brings with it a mountain of ongoing medical needs, specialized care costs, and daily expenses that allow us to focus entirely on being by his side.
*How You Can Help*
We are so fortunate to have a "huge family of friends" who have already held us up through our darkest days. If you are able to contribute, your donation will go directly toward:
* Palliative and hospice care.
* Ongoing medical equipment and comfort needs.
* Helping our family stay focused on Bentley during this precious time.
If you aren’t able to give financially, we ask for your continued prayers, your stories of Bentley, and for you to share this page with others.
With the deepest of gratitude I want to thank all of you for being part of our village. Your love is the light that keeps us going.
