Help Save Benson — My Rescued Puppy Needs Lifesaving Surgery

Hi, my name is Suzie, and I’m writing this with a heart full of love and hope. A few weeks ago, I rescued a tiny puppy named Benson — a sweet, gentle little soul who has already endured more than any dog should. I brought him home to give him the life he deserves, and he’s quickly become my everything.

But we’ve just received devastating news: Benson has a liver shunt — a serious and life-threatening condition that stops his liver from filtering toxins properly. Without specialist surgery, he won’t survive.

The heartbreaking reality is that the diagnostic tests alone are £3,000, and the surgery and aftercare could push the total much higher. I’m currently aiming to raise £7,000, but we may need even more depending on his treatment plan. I’ll be updating the page as we go.

As a lifelong animal lover, I can’t bear the thought of giving up on him without trying everything. He’s still just a baby, and he deserves the same chance at life as any other dog. Euthanasia has been mentioned, but I just can’t accept that when there’s hope — no matter how difficult the road may be.
