Hi, I’m Claire, and I’ve set up this go fund me to help my mother. The family dog, Benson, had been diagnosed with IVDD (intervertebral disc disease). This causes lots of pain, paralysis and can also cause incontinence. This is the second time it has flared up and he requires surgery in order to regain permanent function in his legs. The other option is complete bed rest in a crate, only coming out to go to the toilet. Surgery is the best bet for complete recovery. Unfortunately this is very expensive and so they are trying to raise money to fund his surgeries and give him a normal life.

His brother also suffered from the same disease and he has had successful surgery so we are hopeful of the same.
