On Sunday, July 24th, Lafayette lost a great man - Ben Shaw - a beloved educator, husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. We know how much Ben meant to all of you, and we hope you know how much you meant to him.
Those of you who knew Ben best, know the joy he took from taking care of his yard and the all of the amazing creatures that call it home. Many of you have asked how you can help. Please know that nothing is necessary, but in lieu of flowers, food, or gifts, please feel free to donate to Ben's Beautiful Backyard Habitat Fund.
The proceeds from your gift will contribute to maintainence & upkeep, and will help the beautiful backyard habitat Ben created flourish for many years to come. The Shaw family feels that this is the best way for Ben's memory to live on; as he watches from above, his children and grandchildren will laugh and play in the magical sanctuary he created.
