As many of you do not know, my brother Ben is battling melanoma right now. He has been doing so for the last few years of his life. It started with a mole and spread to his lymph nodes. It is now in his abdomen with tumors attacking his digestive system. He has undergone several surgeries to try to get rid of this horrible disease, but it still keeps coming back.

Right now, he is at Mayo Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, undergoing chemotherapy and a new cancer treatment and therapy. The side effects are ruthless, and he is struggling. Our family and his girlfriend Lauren are there with him every step of the way, but the struggle keeps on.

I am not one to create something like this or ask for anything because I am usually the one who wishes to give. But unfortunately, with my new baby, I am not capable of giving as much as I wish I could to my brother right now. I felt compelled to create this GoFundMe as a way for me to help and support him from a distance. He is unable to work while he goes through this treatment, obviously, and it is unknown how long it will take before he is able to get back to work. Every little bit helps, and I hope that when he gets through this and is finished with the treatment and therapy, he will have a little nest egg to fall back on.

I love him so much. Our family loves him so much. His friends love him so much. He is truly one of a kind, and it brings me so much heartache knowing that he is struggling and going through such a hard time right now because he is the last person to deserve it.
