Dear Friends and Family,

I have always been a huge advocate for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital because I felt a world with sick children should not exist.  It is with a heavy heart that this reality has hit closer to home than ever before.

My best friend and her family are now experiencing a world with a sick child.  Ben is 3 1/2 years old and has been diagnosed with multiple tumors on his kidney.  He will undergo chemotherapy, surgery, and more chemotherapy at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

While I know that my godson, Superhero Benny will defeat Bad Guy Cancer, I also know that Ben's parents, Sara and Jason, need to be able to focus their energy on Ben's health and recovery.  One way that we can help is to alleviate some of the financial  burden associated with this battle against cancer.

If you know the Austin and Malta families, then you know that they are a strong, supportive, loving family.  My second family, really.  Ben is a tough, happy, resilient little boy, who adores his new sister, Elle, legos, and superheroes, of course.  If you would like to help, please visit this link.
