Ben's Writing Residency Help Fund

Hello my friends. My name is Benjamin Clancy. I am a writer, musician and PhD student living in Chapel Hill North Carolina. I was honored to receive a writing residency this spring at the Vermont Studio Center. This prestigious residency offers the opportunity for me to refine my craft and collaborate with other writers and artists for 2 weeks in snowy Vermont. Being able to dedicate myself to poetry in this capacity is a dream, but 
unfortunately it is not a cheap one. Given my vocation as a graduate student, I cannot afford to foot the bill for the residency on my own, so I am calling on you, my dear ones, to help me make this a reality. 

Literally anything helps. The tuition for the residency is due on December 22nd, so we only have two short months to make this happen. Your support would allow me an incredibly unique opportunity to pursue artistic work during the course of my graduate education-- an experience I believe will allow me to make strides as a thinker, an artist and a human. The money you provide will be used to pay for tuition and travel costs, and any excess funds will be directed to producing poetry chapbooks and other unique and artsy items for donors.
