Ben's Stroke Recovery and Rehabilitation

Hi family and friends,

My name is Jess. On December 2nd, my oldest brother Benjamin Yu suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and as a result from this life-altering event he is unable to move the left side of his body. He is currently stable in the hospital with antihypertensive medications, a feeding tube in place and being treated with antibiotics for what the doctors said could be from aspiration pneumonia. The road to recovery will require extensive amount of physical, occupational and speech therapy but my family and I remain hopeful during this difficult time.

Anyone who knows Ben knows that he is a selfless individual who devotes countless hours to the community by supporting children through education and recreation in the Greater Boston Area as a Chinese school assistant principal. He would do anything to help someone in need and now more than ever he needs our support.

By creating this gofundme, we hope to alleviate the stress from the financial burden due to the medical and non-medical bills as he recovers. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in Ben’s life as he tries to navigate the challenges ahead.
