I really don't want to have to ask this, but I'm kind of stuck right now.

Last Saturday, 7th June, Hattie and I bought a 2nd hand car, 6 years old, after my old one gave up. We drove it back to London that afternoon. Sunday I had work until late, threw my tools in the covered up boot, ahead of my 6.30am leave time the next morning, and drove home. I woke up the next morning to find the car had been stolen from outside our house.

Foolishly I had left my tools in the boot, not something I would ever normally do, but was tired and thought it'd be fine.

We didn't have contents insurance on the car, and today I found out that my tools insurance wouldn't cover the value of the stolen items.

So reluctantly I am having to reach out to my friends and the set build community to ask for a little bit of help towards rebuilding my kit. The full value of the kit was around £2000. My handtool top box, and all of the usual power tools - impact, combi, multi, circ, jigsaw, grinder, batteries, etc.

If anyone is able to spare anything to help towards my being able to go back to work with some tools in the near future, I will be eternally grateful. I understand that times are hard for everyone right now. But even the smallest bit of help could get me back on my feet.
