Hi, my name is Kayla Bigelow and my siblings and I are raising money to honor our dad, Ben. Last Easter, my dad made over 100 bags with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and toiletries and handed them out at a local homeless shelter. It meant everything to him. I had never seen him so proud or so happy. He passed away on May 30 of last year, and that Easter was his last holiday spent with me and my family. To honor his life, we want to continue what he started. On May 30 (marking one year of his passing), we plan to make and distribute as many PB&J sandwiches and toiletry bags as possible to people in need in our community. This fundraiser will help cover the cost of food, hygiene items, and supplies so we can reach as many people as we can. This isn’t just about the items themselves, it’s about carrying forward the kindness he showed so naturally. It’s about making sure that what made him happiest continues to exist in the world.
