Remembering Ben Luong — A solid friend, a real gentleman who genuinely care and have respect for everyone.
Our dear friend Ben left so sudden, leaving behind a space that can never be filled. To know Ben was to be blessed by his kindness, his humor, and his incredible heart.
Ben was a Chinese Vietnamese, born into a Catholic family his father was a business man he passed away when he was 57 and Ben was only 6 years old.
Ben settle down in Los Angeles with his mother, sister and brother in law during 80’s.
Ben’s loved people from the very beginning — always making friends wherever he went, always ready to lend a hand, always a gentleman.
Ben poured his passion into everything he touched. When in his thirties, with his then-girlfriend Annie, they built a handbag company from their backyard into a thriving brand, with products sold in lots of casinos stores in Vegas. He worked tirelessly, never complaining, always pushing forward with creativity and dedication. Whether designing to final product in handbags, jewelry, or working on nursery projects, home remodeling, create glassware pieces, Ben gave 100% of himself.
But Ben was so much more than his work. He was a loving brother, a devoted uncle, and a good, solid friend you could count on through anything. He had a rare gift for connecting people together, building bridges between friends.
He was the life of the party when it was time to celebrate, he was an expert snowboarder wiling to teach beginners patiently before he Shredding black diamond runs, he also a talented cook who brought people together over meals, and a true friend who could make you laugh even on your worst days. His generosity, positivity, and humor lit up every room he walked into.
Now, as we grieve this tremendous loss, we want to give Ben the farewell he deserves. We are raising funds to cover funeral expenses and honor his incredible life. Any amount, big or small, will help us say goodbye in a way that reflects the love and joy he gave so freely to others.
Ben may be gone, but his light will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who knew
R.I.P BEN
