WHAT IS BEN'S FRIENDS?

In 2007, Ben’s Friends was founded with the mission of changing the lives of rare disease patients by creating online support communities.

Without an online support community, patients and families affected by rare diseases would otherwise have to deal with their conditions on their own--from endlessly researching answers to the millions of questions they have, to looking everywhere for a trustworthy emotional support.

 

Over the past thirteen years, Ben's Friends has created dozens of online support communities for people affected by rare diseases.

Because of Ben's Friends, people with rare diseases have a safe and supportive place to connect with others like them.

HOW DOES YOUR DONATION CHANGE LIVES?

We are entirely dependent on support from our friends and family. Help us continue to provide warm and friendly online support communities for patients by giving what you can this holiday season.

$500 gives 5,000 patients the comfort they need whenever they feel lost and scared.

$200 brings hope to 2,000 patients when they’re about to give up .

$20 provides 200 patients an access to clinic and doctor recommendations so that they can get proper treatment.
