Great North Run 2025

I am running (and Some Walking!) the Great North Run 2025 in Memory of Pauline Wilson – Supporting Sepsis Trust UK

On September 7th, 2025, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run to raise funds for Sepsis Trust UK, an organisation that works tirelessly to save lives and support those affected by sepsis.

I will be doing this in loving memory of Pauline, my best friend’s mam, who I was very close to when growing up and is missed every day and feel grateful to do this for her.

Pauline developed sepsis and, despite her incredible strength and courage, sadly passed away on 14th September 2018 due to complications from the condition.

Sepsis has also impacted my own family. In 2019, my Granny developed sepsis—it was a terrifying time, and for a while, it was touch and go. Thankfully, she pulled through, but it reminded us just how dangerous and unpredictable this condition can be.

I’m aiming to raise £300 for Sepsis Trust UK, helping them continue their critical work in raising awareness, funding research, and supporting families facing sepsis.
