My youngest daughter took the lead in setting up this GoFundMe for Benny, it's a heartfeld personal story, here it goes:

Hi! My name is Martina I’m 17 and I’m fundraising for this lovely soul, Benny. I found an ad posted in august for someone needing a pet sitter for their dog and I jumped right in at the opportunity. We took care of him for a few weeks, loved him, and then he went back to his home. Fast forward to January, they needed us to care for him again for about two months, and it’s currently April 20th and haven’t heard anything from them. He was abandoned with us. From the first time we cared for him we noticed how terrible his teeth were and we notified the owner. She hadn’t gotten them checked, plus she didn’t have a vet. My mom took him to the Veterinary clinic and they said he has:

Heart murmur 2/6 ( still have to test him about surgery risk)

advanced tooth decay, infection, and likely a small lump on his neck that needs to be studied .

He was prescribed antibiotics for the infection and the vet can’t put him under anesthesia for the teeth cleaning yet.

Benny is roughly 10 years old and still full of life. My sister is in love with him and I haven’t seen her this happy in a long time. He brings my family a lot of love and happiness. Anything would be appreciated to help us pay for his bills.
