My little brother Benny is hilarious, social, smart, and a goofball. Those that get to know him are lucky to experience his full, eccentric personality. Benny is almost always in high spirits, including while having a broken hip!

As some of you know Benny has a disability that impairs his balance along with a few other things. On Sunday night he tripped and fractured his hip, causing him to need emergency surgery. The surgery requires 6-8 weeks healing before he can even begin physical therapy. He will need to stay in the Children's Hospital for a couple of days, including before and after the surgery. The surgery itself will cost around $3,000 out of pocket, with insurance. We still have no idea how much the hospital stay and everything else (wheelchair, walker, etc.) will cost. 

My parents are taking time off of work to be with him and take care of him throughout this whole ordeal. This has been weirder and harder than usual of course, due to Covid. 

It is really hard asking for help but I am doing it for my family. If you can give anything at all to help with Benny's medical expenses we would be very grateful. We know finances are difficult at the moment, so we ask that if you cannot give that you please share this with anyone that you think would want to help.
