Hi, my name is Amanda. I’m Bennys momma. Benny has gotten a very aggressive form of IVDD. For those that don’t know what IVDD is in dogs, IVDD is a spinal disorder that is from a herniated disc on a dogs spine. Everything seemed to happened within a 40 hour span. With how severe his case is, Benny requires IMMEDIATE surgery since pain medication is no longer helping and with a physical exam is not showing signs of being able to feel his toes. Which in many cases means he is paralyzed. Surgery will help with his pain, however does not mean he will be able to walk again. So we are at a 50/50 chance right now with him being able to walk ever again. If we do not go through with surgery, the only other option is to put him down. Which is not an option. He’s 3 years old. So being his momma I’m doing what I can to help him! They are estimating $10,000 as of right now. We know that’s a hefty amount. We are asking everyone to please share this! Anything helps!

Benny is the sweetest boy and deserves a fun filled life. Please pray his surgery goes well and our boy will be walking again.
