As we all know, tragedies happen. Unfortunately, in this case, the tragedy hits close to home and has impacted one of our own. Earlier this week, our very own hiker extraordinaire, Benny Helms, lost his home and all of his belongings in a house fire. To know Benny is to know someone who cares about others and would give the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He is the primary provider in his household and helps to take care of many of his extended family members who live nearby. We are raising money to begin the process of getting him back on his feet, and I would ask that if you can donate, every small amount can make a big difference for him.
