My cousin Ben was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lympoma in October of 2018, right before his 43 Birthday. The only symptom was constant pressure in his chest, no other typical symptoms were present.
Much to our surprise, a scan showed a tumor the size of a tennis ball laying right on top of his heart. His team of oncologist informed him treatment would only be a few short months with a promising outcome. We just had to get this behind us.
Half way threw his chemotherapy a scan was performed to see if treatment was successful. Unfortunately, chemotherapy was not working on Ben so he had to be put under for a biopsy. While he was under the oncologist found a second tumor near his heart. Ben has kept a positive outlook and keeps moving forward for his 8 year old son.
Since more aggressive treatment is required to treat his case, Ben will be hospitalized for one month for a stem cell transplant . He will be quarantined and unable to work for 3 additional months once he is released from the hospital. Ben is recently separated and has an 8 year old son and two dogs to support. I am setting this account up so he can focus on getting better for his son and also to relieve him of financial hardships. Please consider donating. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!
