Bennett George to 2024 Team Trails & Beyond

My name is Bennett George and I am a senior at Walker Valley High School. I am raising funds to go to the team trails in Montgomery, AL and hopefully on to World Championships for slalom kayaking in Slovakia in July 2024 . I started my slalom kayaking sport when my dad signed me up to compete in the Ocoee River Championships in 2019. I was hooked after that first race and became committed to the sport. I have paddled multiple days a week even through the winter (rain, sleet, snow, cold, doesn't stop me). In April 14-16, 2023 I entered the US TEAM Trials for a top spot on the US Team. The top 3 paddlers in each division receive a spot to represent the US at the World Championships in Slovakia I am reaching out to help raise money for this trip to Europe. Funds will be used for gas, coaching fees, airfare, hotel, equipment, and food for this trip.
