Benmore Crossfit does Battle Cancer Dublin 2025!

Myself and 15 other members of my gym have signed up to take part in the Battle Cancer event in Dublin in March 2025. 4 teams in total will make their way from Ballycastle to Dublin to partake in ultimate fitness fun, all while raising money for a very worthy cause!

My team of 4 consists of myself, my husband Peter, our wonderful coach Sarah, and the legend himself Aidan, AKA 'Tiny'! Our team name is 'Top of the Sore Board' and has absolutely nothing to do with the niggles and pains that training may cause on the more mature athlete...

Battle Cancer is a global movement where fitness meets fundraising. Uniting communities through fitness challenges that push you physically while raising money for life-changing cancer charities. Whether you're a competitive athlete or just starting, Battle Cancer is your chance to contribute to something bigger.

We have chosen Friends of the Cancer Centre as our charity of choice. Any donation made will go directly to the charity, and every £1 we raise is an extra rep for the leader board! I can assure you every member will give their absolute all during this challenge - if you can spare a few quid it would be very much appreciated, it will give us that extra wee push to go full send!
