Ben Marchand Memorial Fund

This is a memorial fund page in honor of Benjamin Lewis Marchand.  Benjamin  tragically took his own life on 10/28/2016 at University of South Dakota after suffering from depression for approximately a month.
Bemjamin was a freshman studying biology for a career in medicine.  He grew up in Custer South Dakota, attended Custer Highschool and was very active at all levels of the Custer community.  Ben was an outdoorsmen, a scholar, an athlete in football, wrestling and track, an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America, a volunteer at Custer Lutheran Church, member of the National Honor Society, and a accoplished muscian.
The family is raising money to help with costs associated with the funeral and memorial services.  Any remainding funds  will be donated to a charity of the Marchand's choosing in Ben's name.
