Hello everyone

My name is Benjamin (Benji to my friends & family). I have been involved in scouting with 1st Hardingstone Scouts since I was 5 years old, starting as a Beaver where I became Beaver of the Year, then I moved to Cubs (during Covid) and once again was Cub of the Year, before moving to Scouts where I currently am still an active member and having worked hard I've moved up from assistant patrol leader, to patrol leader and now senior patrol leader. I am very pleased to have been able to fulfill my aspirations of being able to help younger Scouts and enable them to learn more. As one of my additional scouting activities I am part of the Scout Youth band.

My reason for going to the 2027 Poland WorldScout Jamboree is that I would like to learn more about scouting around the world and also appreciate the opportunities that this once in a lifetime trip will give me.

My main skills at only 13 years of age are leadership, teamwork and responsibility which I have been very fortunate to have learnt before the age of 14.

The reason that you are reading this is because I have decided I need to fundraise part of the cost to fund my wonderful journey to the Jamboree in Poland. My Mum is amazing, but is a single parent to me and my sister, she is always driving us or picking us up from Scouting events, camps & show rehearsals and its going to be very hard financially, hoping some kind people will be able to assist me.
