Hello Friends! 

This is my dear friend Benji and his adorable puppy Toby. Over the 4th of July weekend, while out walking near Lake Gregory, Toby was attacked by another dog that was off-leash. Benji heroically wrestled the dog off Toby... saving his life. Unfortunately, in his efforts to protect Toby, Benji was taken to the ground and dislocated his shoulder. Thankfully for Benji's quick actions, what could have been a much more serious injury for Toby, he still ended up needing stitches. The owners of the dog that attacked Toby fled the scene without any type of assistant and couldn't be found to take responsibility for their actions.  Luckily, park rangers were able to call an ambulance to get Benji to the hospital and Benji's wonderful girlfriend, Lara, was able to take Toby to a nearby vet. 

The medical bills for both Benji and Toby were quite substantial. The accident to his shoulder and COVID-19 has made it difficult for Benji to work and afford to pay these medical bills. Benji is one of the most selfless human beings that I have had the pleasure to know and always goes above and beyond to help those in need.  

My friends and I are trying to raise all that we can to help pay Benji and Toby's medical bills. Please help reach our goal and help these two get back on their feet.
