Benjamin's Pilgrimage to Rome for the Jubilee of Youth!

My name is Benjamin, I have been an altar server at St Mary's at various Masses for over 10 years. You may not have seen me recently as I have been in my first year studying as a Student Paramedic in Bristol.

My Catholic faith is very important to me and next year I will be living in the Bristol Catholic Student Chaplaincy and serving there with music, altar serving, Eucharistic ministry and also helping with the soup kitchen at a local Catholic Church.

I would like to ask for any help you can give me please, in raising money to go on the Pilgrimage to Rome to Celebrate the Jubilee of Youth with the East Anglian Diocese from 28th July to 4th August. I am the only person going from St Mary’s parish. The Diocese have asked me to attend due to my medical knowledge and I will also be a group leader for younger people during the trip.

I was very blessed to attend World Youth Day with Fr Jude 2 years ago and I know the trip can make a real difference to the faith of the young people attending. We are excited to be seeing Pope Leo as part of the celebration event.

I would be so very grateful for any donations. I also ask for your prayers for the whole group of young people attending the pilgrimage. I will be praying for you all when in Rome.
