On September 14, 2022 our sweet boy lost his life in a car accident. I was driving to work and Benjamin was 13 months old at the time we were at a dead stop on the interstate when a man who had just been working long hours was on the phone not paying attention and speeding on the interstate decided to rear end our vehicle Thus causing multiple injuries to myself and our sweet baby Benjamin we were both taken to the hospital however he was airlifted to Children’s Hospital, where we learned that unfortunately he was not going to make it due to loss of brain activity. We try taking our case to the courts however, the system failed us, and we did not get any justice for our sweet boy Luckily our sweet Mia that I was pregnant with at the time is here and OK however we understand how difficult it can be for families that are grieving the loss of a young child or any child and I wouldn’t wish that on any parent. Benjamin brought such a light to this world even in his short time here. We are starting a Go Fund Me in his honor so that we can help other families going through similar situations as well as donating a portion to Children’s Hospital New Orleans PICU. This is our way of honoring our sweet boy for what would have been his birthday coming up.
