Benjamin’s Secondary Pull thru surgery
Donation protected

By definition this is what the disease entails.
Hirschsprung's disease (HD or HSCR) is a birth defect in which nerves are missing from parts of the intestine. The most prominent symptom is constipation. Other symptoms may include vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and slow growth. Symptoms usually become apparent in the first two months of life. Complications may include enterocolitis, megacolon, bowel obstruction, and intestinal perforation.
They have found a great group that lead them to a Doctor that specializes in this disease. Downside is he is in Boston. Benjamin has already been out for one procedure and due to not being able to get the right treatment here has had some complications. Now both him and his mom will be flying out next week for a secondary Pull through surgery, which is very painful and awful to go through.
As you can imagine all his procedures have taken a toll both physically, financially and emotionally for the family. That is why in the season of giving I would ask that you consider sending some love to this family as they now have the added stress of Yet another procedure and all that comes with it. Most importantly Benjamin’s health. What a gift to give to take the stress of how to pay for this process away for his family especially before the holidays. If all goes well he will be released in time to spend Christmas with his family.
Thank you in advance for your love and support for Benjamin and his family.
