Benjamin's WWP Swim-a-Thon
Donation protected

Hello, I’m Benjamin Gendron and as many of you might know this September I will become a bar mitzvah. This is a very important in a Jewish boy’s life as they become an adult in the eyes of the Jewish religion and are held accountable for their actions. As a mitzvah (good deed) project prior to my bar mitzvah celebration I have decided to organize a swim-a-thon at Flourtown Swim Club where I swim during the summer months. Myself and other members of the Flourtown Swim Club’s swim team will be swimming to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) .
The WWP is very close and dear to my heart as my Grandfather and 2 Great Grandfathers served in multiple branches of the military. And even though they were not injured while serving many who served are and continue to be. The WWP enables us to help thousands of injured warriors returning home from the current conflicts and to provide assistance to their families. As the number of wounded steadily increases, it is easy to see how the needs of these brave individuals also increase.
Along with the swim-a-thon I will also be volunteering for multiple events throughout the summer to help raise money for the WWP.
This year, my goal is to raise $1,000. All donations great and small are appreciated.
Thank you very much.
