Benjamin Philip Van Dyken

Benjamin Philip Van Dyken, age 17, of Allendale passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 7th, 2018, and is now resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior. Ben was a loving son, brother, grandson, and uncle who loved his life and had a great sense of humor. His radiant personality was contagious, making others smile and laugh. Ben was a Junior at Allendale High School where he enjoyed the friendship of his peers. He had a love of sports and played on the school's baseball team. Ben enjoyed the outdoors and had a special love for fishing. Above all, ben was a young man of character and strong faith. He was actively involved in his church youth group, and his love for Jesus was evident to all who knew him. Ben was a child warrior, he went through four heart surgeries, three of which were open heart surgeries since he was born.  His parents not only have the death of their son to mourn, but they also are struggling with health issues themselves such as cancer and bone disease. 

As a close friend of Kendra and coworker (Uccellos) to Ben,  we are asking for any financial burden costs that Ben's parents are going through. All donations will go directly to Philip and Michele Van Dyken. We thank you for all of your support and donations, it is one less stress for their family at this time.
