Ben was only 45. For nearly a decade, he faced each day with unwavering strength, humour, and dignity—despite the relentless challenges that his condition brought. Through it all, his focus remained on his family. His wife, his rock, stood by him every step of the way. His children—his pride and joy—grew up watching their dad fight with more heart than many could ever imagine.

Ben was a good man, who never asked for much, but gave everything he had. All those who know him know that Ben was an absolute one off, a character like no other, and right until the very end, his sense of humour did not desert him.

Now, in the wake of this devastating loss, his family is left not only to grieve but to navigate the overwhelming financial burden that comes with saying goodbye. Funeral costs are something no family should have to worry about in moments like this—but the reality is, they need our help.
