Benjamin Hill IW Cancer Fund

Fellow brothers, sisters, families, and friends,

Some of you know him as Ben Hill, others know him as "Benny Hill". Ben is a second generation ironworker, starting just two weeks after graduating high school back in 1994. He was promoted to journeymen IW in 1997,  shortly after became general foremen in 2004, and finally became general superintendent in 2014. Throughout his IW career, Ben has been loyal to with Olson Steel (then-Bostrom & Bergen) in the Bay Area, but more importantly, to his family who he spends much of his time away from in the Central Valley - Fresno, home of his three kids, wife, and his sister.

The week of May 24, 2018 was a very rough time for Ben. First, Ben was diagnosed with with cancer; and second, his father, a first generation and retired iron worker, was also diagnosed with cancer. Ben will be undergoing surgery on June 26, 2018 to eradicate the large mass in his chest, and we ask that you keep him in your thoughts, and prayers for a speedy recovery.

We have set a goal of $20,000 to help Ben Hill in this time of need for both him, his father, and his family.

Ben is an incredible asset not only in the steel industry, but as a human being who is positive, calm, and a leader by example.
