Benjamin Frazier and his family are a part of some of Bluffton's original families. Having grown up in the area, raised his children, grandchildren and greatchildren in a home he built, he sadly watched it all go up in smoke on the evening of June 1st. While watching flames engulf his home, Ben tried to quell the fire as best he could but to bo avail. Over 50 years of legacy and hardwork burned to the ground right before his eyes. Ben has been employed as Landscape Architect with Sea Pines for over 50 years and Polly is a retired educator and currently a childcare provider running her a home childcRe facility which was also destroyed by the fore. Polly was inside during the fire and was ushered to safery by a neighboring relative. Though all of their memobilia, history, furniture and many other items were destroyed, they are grateful that everyone is safe and was unharmed in the devastation. The family will be displaced for a while as they begin the journey of rebuilding and replacing what was lost. Any contributions collected will go to help them with temporary housing, replacing clothing, food, and other expenses that will be incurred during this time.
