Hello! I am starting this fundraiser for our dad. Many of you know him as Benji or Benjamin Ferguson. He works self employed with “Fergusons Stump Grinding”. You can find some of his work through a Facebook page, it is linked below. Dad is well known around our little town. Hard working and never takes time to relax. He is always working and if he isn’t working you can find him working on something at home. Never takes or asks for help. Will give the shirt off his back for anyone. So you can bet that when I mentioned this fundraiser, he declined.
Last night I received a call that no one wants to receive. Information pertaining to EMS assisting with an accident that consisted of a truck rolling over him and was drug over 20 feet. Barely conscious. As you can imagine this was tragic. He is lucky is to be alive today. I thank god that we are not planning a funeral.
Today we sit in the hospital with him. We are waiting for results for scans. So far we do know that he has a punctured lung, seven broken ribs, upper scapula is broken and head trauma.
Benji’s a prideful man that doesn't want to ask for help but I am creating this post in hopes that his family and friends can come together to donate what you can. There is a long road to recovery. Thank you for reading.
