5th October 1994 - 8th December 2021

 

As many of you know, on the 8th December 2021 I lost my brother Ben, at only 27! Unfortunately, after contracting COVID-19 Ben was unable to overcome the devastating impacts of the virus, which resulted in him sadly being taken from us. If losing Ben wasn’t hard enough in itself, leaving a huge void in our lives, it was then we had to say our final goodbye’s to him on 23rd December 2021 only two days before Christmas Day!

 

Anyone who knew Ben, will know how much of an incredibly happy, loving, kind, funny, hardworking, selfless soul he was. I don’t know a life without him, and it will take a very long time for us to accept and come to terms with our devastating loss.

 

COVID-19 is something that has affected us all, in one way or another. Whether it was for you to have the virus yourself at some point, oblige by lockdown rules, self isolate, take countless tests, or to be away from our families for long periods of time.

In our case, we have been impacted by losing someone very close to our hearts due to this inhumane virus.

 

In the duration of the past few months, since Ben’s passing, I’ve had time to reflect on our very sudden and excruciating loss.

So, myself & Emma - have teamed up together and signed up to do a charity Sky Dive from the UK’s highest point 15,000ft (3 miles) in August 2022.

So, if any of you are happy enough to show your support, any help, no matter how little would be greatly appreciated.

 

The world may slowly be getting back to normal, but we unfortunately never will. Ben’s passing was very sudden and recent. COVID - 19 IS still out there and remains. I ask each and everyone of you to still please take precautions as and when you can, so no one will go through a life time of suffering that we now as a family and all of Ben’s close friends, work colleagues and loved ones have to endure without him.
