Benito Treviño’s Funeral

Hello everyone my name is Kenya, I am fundraising for the funeral expenses of my boyfriends dad Benito, of the Treviño family. Ben was diagnosed 5 years ago with Sorosis & Diabetes. Ben fought long and hard these past 5 years, but sadly is losing his battle at the moment at Rio grande Regional hospital of Mcallen. Ben fell, Thursday night 1/27/22 and was taken by ambulance to the ER. Unfortunately, Ben’s health severely decreased and was diagnosed with gangrene and sepsis in his right leg. He was taken into surgery and had most of his hamstring taken out and parts of his lower leg muscle, but shortly after the infection spread throughout his body. He was also intubated. Bens blood pressure was severely low as well due to the infection. A few days later on 1/29/2022 the doctors gave him the last medication to help him in this situation, mind you they couldn’t give him anything that can lower his blood pressure. So finding the right medication protocol was incredibly hard. Ben was in pain. Today on 1/30/2022, Ben is losing his battle and is no longer breathing on his own. He is dependent on oxygen, and was put in ‘comfort mode’ to help him stay calm throughout his last few hours. The Doctors said they did everything they could.

Ben was an amazing man. He was recognized as The most kindhearted and heartwarming person. Ben always had a positive attitude no matter what he was going through. Ben was incredibly loved by his friends and family. Personally, i can recall every time he greeted me with a smile and light handshake. Ben was a family man, he was caring and loving. Ben brought so much light to this world, even in his last moments he was good.

Ben is leaving behind A wife, Angel(Son), Nina(daughter) & Kevin,Matt & Oscar (sons) along with 2 (daughters), Tanesha and Felicia. He is also leaving behind 2 beautiful grand-daughters Audrina 10, and Carolina 3. As well as every other family member and friend who loved him.

He was a firm believer in our Lord. He trusted him throughout his last moments here on Earth. He is now rejoicing in the Lord.

Ben passed away today at 12:25 pm on 1/30/2022.
