My sister, Benita Verdin was fatally struck by a vehicle on Sunday March 19,2017. At the young age of 26 her life was taken from her right before her eyes. She was a beloved daughter, mother, and sister.

Benita was a single mother that loved her 8 year old son Robert Verdin fiercely. He was the light of her life! She taught him to be respectful, polite and she passed on her love of learning. She taught him to love school, which he will carry with him throughout his life. 


I remember her laugh and smile and how day by day she struggled with her mental disorder but that did not stop her from smiling. Regardless of how much she struggled to detain her life she always managed to keep a positive additude. She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh and smile. 

All the donations will be going towards Benita's funeral cost, Celebration of Life  and to help her son with a trust fund. 


Mi hermana, Benita Verdin fue golpeada fatalmente por un vehículo el domingo 19 de Marzo de 2017. A la edad de 26 años su vida fue tomada de su derecho ante sus ojos. Ella era una hija amada, madre y hermana.
Benita era una madre soltera que amaba a su hijo de 8 años Robert Verdin. Él era la luz de su vida! Ella le enseñó a ser respetuoso, educado y transmitió su amor por el aprendizaje. Ella le enseñó a amar la escuela, que llevará con el toda su vida.
Recuerdo su risa y su sonrisa y cómo día a día luchaba con su trastorno mental, pero eso no la impedía sonreír. Independientemente de cuánto luchó por detener su vida, siempre logró mantener una adición positiva. Siempre será recordada por su risa contagiosa y su sonrisa.
Todas las donaciones se destinarán al costo funerario de Benita, Celebración de la Vida y para ayudar a su hijo con un fondo fiduciario.
