Benjamin Steven Hobbs passed from this life at the age of 27 on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, cousin and a freind to most everyone who knew him. He was my nephew and I loved him dearly.  What can a person do in a time of greif to help loved ones get through such a devastating loss?  My Sister-in-law Fonda Hobbs, lost her youngest son Travis Hobbs only 3 short years ago. I cannot imagine the pain of losing one son and now having to go through it all over again and burry her oldest son Ben.  Ben had no life insurance and funds to pay for the funeral are non existant. I sat with Fonda yesterday, trying to comfort this mother and feeling totally helpless. How can I ease her pain and sorrow? She was bombarded with messages and texts asking if there is anything they can do to help. Then it hit me...There is. I am asking those who knew Ben and the Hobbs family that want to do something for them, to give today to help lay this young man to rest.  Fonda wants to give him a beautiful service and I pray that friends and family might be able to help make this happen. Flowers are beautiful but they whither and fade. Contributing to his farwell will last a lifetime.  Thank you all for helping. Every dollar counts and is so very greatly appreciated.
