As many of you know, life has been a bit of a whirlwind for the Bengtson Family the past few months. On May 16, they entered a season of job transition. Just nine days later, in the early hours of May 25, Walker suffered a life threatening drop in his blood sugar level. Ali woke up to him seizing and called 911. He was taken to an out of network hospital due to the concern that there had been damage to other organs. We are so thankful that he was discharged with only a back injury from the seizures.

On June 6, Ali went into labor with their firstborn baby. While they planned on a home birth, after several hours of pushing and unstable blood pressure, it was determined that she should be transferred to the hospital. Upon arriving, it was clear that she had developed severe pre-eclampsia. She was able to deliver Wilder safely, but they both required extended care.

We are so thankful for God’s protection over all three of their lives during these events. We are excited to see what He has in store for them in their next season. While they seek His direction, we would like to come alongside them in this time of waiting. Each of these events were unplanned and came with good sized medical bills. They are currently facing over $12,000 in medical debt in addition to their monthly medical expenses. If we could erase this debt for them, it would be life changing.
