Hi, my name is Jen Foley and I am a lifelong friend of Elizabeth Bourbeau. I have collaborated with family and friends to create this GoFundMe for Beth.

On January 25th Beth was in a life changing roll over car accident. She was in Ashland driving North when she hit the guard rail, spun around and was facing Southbound on the Northbound lane and was struck head on by a tracker trailer carrying wood chips. She had life threatening injuries and was airlifted to Concord Hospital where she began the fight of her life. Since the accident she has been at Concord Hospital where she has been put into a medically induced coma, supported by her closest family and friends.

As you can tell by the photos of the accident, Beth is EXTREMELY lucky to be alive today. Although she did not suffer any broken bones, unfortunately most of her injuries are neck and head trauma. The full extent of injuries and damage are unknown at this time, as we are waiting for her to come out of sedation.

Beth is expected to be in the hospital for another 5 weeks, followed by long-term rehabilitation. She will have a very long road ahead of her and will need all the support she can get. Again, we don’t know the extent of the aftercare required but it will be extensive leaving all of her obligations to her family.

Obviously the medical bills are already accruing not to mention, her rent, monthly bills, Bunnies(who she loves dearly) and her other responsibilities are quickly piling up.
