Bold. Brave.  And LOVED by everyone who knows her.  Christine's story is nothing short of extraordinary.  This 33 year old mama found out in June of 2019 that the lump she found in her right breast was Cancer.  She was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma and 5 days later found out she was pregnant with her third child!  Since that time, Christine has undergone a unilateral mastectomy, AND continued to be a beacon of light, hope, and joy in her community while baby Boye  and her belly continue to grow.   After her surgery in July, Christine was given clean margins around her tumor that was removed.  She was free to focus on her pregnancy.   The Boye family started looking for a new home to suit the needs of their growing family.  In December, their offer on a home in Bridgeport was accepted.  The Boye family was about to become first time  homeowners!   The Boye family was so excited to be celebrating the Holidays with the anticipation of their new home and their new baby, soon to arrive.  On December 16, six days after Christine's birthday, their world was turned upside down again, when a check up revealed a recurrent tumor.   Appointments were scheduled and chemo was started the next day.  This Fierce mama refuses to lose hope or joy and courageously embraces all that life has to offer.  The family recently closed on their new home and moved from their condo into their new house.   Costs are piling up quickly as Paul and Christine are faced with countless medical bills related to Christine's treatment and the delivery of Baby, costs of buying a home and moving, and making preparations for the arrival of their sweet child. They have been hit with the new year's high deductibles, too.    It is likely, they will need an infant caretaker to help with the many needs of a baby while mama undergoes cancer treatment (chemo and radiation).  Christine has undergone 3 of  many scheduled rounds of chemo.  And somewhere in the middle of all that, she will be delivering her baby!  The events of the past 12 months have been enough to make one's mind spin, tackling 3 of life's major stressors all at once! Through it all, Christine has maintained her faith in God and her commitment to her community.  This hard working Arbonne mama, Bar Method instructor, and Doula has taught her clients, her students, her children, and her many friends so much.  She demonstrates by example how to live life with purpose and joy.  Please send the Boye family a word of encouragement and/or some financial support.  If you pray, please keep this incredible family in your prayers.  God is writing something beautiful.
