Benefiting Seattle Koyasan Temple

Our names are Roman Peterson and Marc Huang and we are eighth grade students at the Overlake School. We are doing a 30 day project in our social studies class where we have to pick something to stick with for 30 days that has something to do with issues in our world today. While doing this project we found the Seattle Koyasan Buddhist Temple which we believe is a place of great spiritual connection and serves everyone in the community of Seattle. Seattle Koyasan Buddhist Temple is a small temple that is working hard to rescue people from suffering, mentally, physically, and spiritually. They welcome all people and help them through the teachings of the Buddha. The temple is sustained purely off of donations from the public and the donations go towards helping pay for everything that goes on in the temple and especially liability insurance. With the donation money received from this fundraiser, the money will be able to sustain them for a long amount of time. They deeply appreciate the help of the people and will continue to serve the community of Seatte.
