On October 3, Branson Bishop was in a bad car accident near his home in Drasco, Arkansas. He was flown in a helicopter to the trauma hospital in Little Rock. There he was found to have broken his pelvis in multiple places. He had surgery the next day, and is thankfully recovering as well as can be expected. Although he'll be out of the hospital soon, he will still have months of rehab before he can walk normally again. The prolonged recovery period means that he will have to take a leave of absence from school for the semester and that he will be unable to work for months. Between the cost of the helicopter ride, the surgery, the hospital stay, car replacement, and lost wages, he'll be facing a lot of bills. He and his family are so grateful for the positive thoughts and prayers that loved ones have been sending. These are helping to keep Branson upbeat and prepared for the long road ahead. In addition to kind thoughts, Branson could use an outpouring of love in the form of financial gifts to help offset some of the costs he's facing. Anyone who is willing and able to contribute can help keep this amazingly strong, kind, and loving person from starting out life on a mountain of debt and help ease financial worries so he can focus on his recovery.
