My big brother needs a little more help, so we're pitching in to lend a hand.
Since his cancer diagnosis in May 2016, it's been a tough journey, but he's almost done!
The chemotherapy and radiation were successful (also painful and hellish). And just recently (March 2nd), Bill had pretty major surgery. The awesome doctors and staff at New Hanover Regional Medical Center have been spectacular.
The surgery went well, and now we wait for healing. There will be at least one other surgery to come, to put everything back together.
All this is tremendously expensive, and Bill is laid up and unable to work much. So we're gonna help him out.
Members of the Triangle music community, where Bill has been such an important figure are teaming up to do what we do best, play music.
In addition to this GoFundMe page, Cat’s Cradle in Downtown Carrboro will host a benefit concert for Bill on Friday March 31 featuring The Connells, The Roman Spring and Arrow Beach.
